The weather here in Southwest Florida has been nothing short of beautiful. Sunny with a few clouds and a light breeze — and it’s winter. Paradise. And what better way to spend such a lovely evening than fishing?

I’m usually after a good snook bite in the evenings, but the action has been a little on the off side for the last few weeks (for me, at least). I have a bit of knowledge about bass fishing and, since I couldn’t get the snook to cooperate, decided to use it and go pond hopping.
