Fishing with the fellas

I get a lot of entertainment out of taking people fishing who haven’t been bass fishing before, or haven’t been in quite some time. My latest excursion was with WaterLine publisher Josh Olive and one of my fellow writers, Capt. Mike Myers. I was down there for a tournament on Okeechobee, so we made plans to fish on one of my practice days.
I met Josh and Mike at the Clewiston ramp before sunrise and got them and their gear loaded up into the boat. Due to the water being so high, we launched out on the rim canal side of the lake and set out toward the south end of the lake. Because this was a practice day for me, I told them we would be covering a lot of water and looking for some areas that had numbers as well as quality.
