Bull sharks are often found in water just deep enough for them to swim.

I have only hooked a few sharks this spring, but I can already tell the shark fishing this year will be nothing short of amazing. Reports of big sharks are consistently coming in every day. They are everywhere, from the passes to some areas up into the river, and seem to be getting thicker by the day. Some folks have reported that they have hooked huge sharks and never had the chance to even see their quarry. Now, so have I.

My friend Barry and I were out in the Harbor fishing for tarpon one night last week. We were hoping for a good bite as the full moon was only two nights away. Conditions were perfect — a slight southwest breeze, minimal overcast, and a steady incoming tide.
