VHS winter teams prepare for postseason

A number of Venice High teams are in the midst of strong seasons that will begin to wrap up after the holiday break.
The girls soccer team (12-4-2, 9-2-2 4A District 11) will be the No. 2 seed in the district tournament after the Indians’ regular season concludes Jan. 10 against North Port.
