North Port High School junior Robbie Rothman was airlifted from Powell-Davis Stadium Monday night after sustaining a head injury late in the first half of North Port’s game against Venice.

Rothman briefly lost consciousness after colliding with a Venice player but was conscious and responsive as coaches waited with him for paramedics, North Port coach Gerard Gregoire said.
