The Venice High boys basketball team lost 60 percent of its starting lineup to graduation, but there is reason to believe the Indians might be able to repeat last year’s district runner-up finish.

Four-year varsity player Chris Hann returns after averaging 16 points per game as a junior. Hann will be expected to carry the scoring load for Venice, which has seven players with varsity experience.
