Howard F. Howell, 72, of Venice, formerly of Williamsburg, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

Howard was born Dec. 31, 1940, in Maysville, Ky to Edith Mae (Hendrix) and John Henry Howell. Howard enjoyed going to flea markets and thrift stores. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Agnes and Carolyn.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Marlene; two children, Sharon (William) Smith of Venice and Jeffrey (Barbara) Howell of Nokomis; two grandchildren, Samantha and Sean; three brothers, Robert, David and Mike; and one sister, Elaine Hanke.

Services: Funeral sservice will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Jesse Knight Cemetery.
