Bianca “Anne” (Marinelli) Zanghi, of Braintree, Mass., formerly of Quincy, Mass., passed away Sunday Dec. 16, 2012, at the age of 87.

Bianca came to the United States when she was 3 years old and grew up in Quincy, where she was a graduate of Quincy High School, class of 1943, and then the Wilfred Beauty Academy. Bianca was the former owner of Maxine’s Beauty Salon in Quincy and was a member of the Braintree Women’s Club and the Braintree Catholic Women’s Club. She enjoyed spending the winter in Venice.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dominick P. Zanghi; loving mother of Anne-Marie Crawford and her husband, Jonathan, Lucille McGrady and her husband, Paul, Mary Ellen Kilmer and her husband, Carleton and Carmen Zanghi, all of Braintree; beloved grandmother of Eric Crawley and his wife, Samantha, of Hyde Park, N.Y., Jonathan Kilmer of New York City and Lisa Crawford of Quincy; and devoted sister of Dora Macdonald and Nancy Cirillo, both of Quincy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services: She lay in repose at Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, and relatives and friends were invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington St., Braintree. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
