Burton Edward Deiana, 77, of Venice, formerly of Hopedale, Mass., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.

He was a member of the Venice Golf & Country Club and American Legion Post 159 and a former member of the Florida Board of Realtors and Hopedale Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne R. Deiana; son Mark Deiana, and his wife, Karen Deiana, of New York; daughter, Shari Deiana of North Carolina; brother John Deiana and his wife, Arlene Deiana, of Massachusetts; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son John E. Deiana in 1997.

Services: Services will be private. Ewing Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
