Phyllis M. Weaver, 84, of North Port, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012.

She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Kenova, W.Va., and she moved to Westerville, Ohio, as a child. Phyllis graduated from Westerville High School in 1946. She worked at North American Rockwell and was a chef for many years at the DCSC. Phyllis retired to Florida in 1996. She loved to play bingo, dance and listen to gospel, bluegrass and country music.

She is greatly missed by her loving family: daughters, Peggy Oliver, Mary Stagg, Cheryl Welch, Janet Davis and Patty Weaver; son, James C. Weaver; sisters, Brenda Feasel and Virginia Goelz; 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at First Baptist Church, 312 W. Miami Ave., Venice FL 34285.
