Anna Katherine Pfund, age 91, on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, was ushered into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was looking forward to that homecoming after being ill for several weeks.

Anna served in World War II with the Women’s Army Air Corps. Originally from Adrian, Mich., she and her surviving husband, Richard Pfund, have lived in Venice, Fla. for 30 years. Also surviving are her daughter, Kathy Metz of Venice, Fla.; and a son, Alan Pfund of Nebraska. Anna is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
