James “Jim” Brill, 84, of Venice, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.

Jim was born Feb. 7, 1928, in Elkhart, Ind., to Modelle (Schwab) and Lon Brill. Jim was preceded in death by his son Greg.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; three children, Kathy (Steve) Mowry of Venice, Fla., Mike (Sally) Brill of Advance, N.C., and Pam (Dale) Riegsecker of Venice; five stepchildren, Chuck, Mike and Rick Eaton of Venice and John and Jim Eaton of Goshen, Ind.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his beloved dogs Snoopy, Peanut and Marley.

Services: Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service at 4 p.m, Saturday, Nov. 3, at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel.
