SARASOTA COUNTY — Members of the Sarasota County School Board know school safety is of primary concern for parents, teachers and students.

“It’s very important to us also,” School Board Chairwoman Jane Goodwin said at the opening of Tuesday’s board workshop. “Many parents have reached out to us, and we know there are concerns after Sandy Hook.”
