Pier pigeon problem persists

A pigeon sits stop a fish-cleaning station at the Venice Fishing Pier. Problems with the birds led to the installation of netting that some birds are using for nests.

Pigeons are turning the nets under the Venice Fishing Pier into nests, say Sharky’s on the Pier Restaurant owners.
The netting was installed last year to keep them out.
