Early July is a tough time of the season for any summer sports program. Families take summer vacation around that time, leaving teams struggling to find enough players to field a team.

The Jammers, a league organized and coached by the Punta Gorda Police Department, was forced to improvise for one game when a team showed up with only four players. They simply played four on four.
