SARASOTA — After losing five of its six games leading up to the Sarasota Baseabll Classic this week, Charlotte High School’s baseball team had little reason to expect it would storm out of the dugout to celebrate a title this week.

On Thursday afternoon, the Tarpons were doing just that. Charlotte beat Eagle’s View Academy (Jacksonville) 4-2 to win for the fourth time in as many days to earn the red bracket title.
