Pirates, Tarpons keep rivalry alive

Port Charlotte and Charlotte high schools will continue as district rivals in football for the next two seasons.
Port Charlotte’s appeal to move up a classification for the 2013 and 2014 football seasons was granted by the FHSAA this week. The final football assignments were released Friday.
