Several injured in rural 3-vehicle crash
SOUTHEASTERN CHARLOTTE COUNTY — Six people were taken to area hospitals following a three-vehicle accident late Saturday morning at State Road 31 and Horseshoe Road in a rural part of the county, out past the Octagon Wildlife Sanctuary, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
The accident occurred at 11:51 a.m. after a 2000 Lincoln Navigator driven by Guadalupe Salvador Perez, 41, of La Belle, and a 1997 Ford F350 driven by Allen Jeffrey Wright, 51, of Immokalee, approached a 2011 Hyundai Elantra driven by Chitra G. Paul Victor, 44, of Fort Myers, that was attempting to make a U-turn, according to the report.
