Report: Burglary case leads to drug arrest
PORT CHARLOTTE — An investigation into a burglary in which three shotguns and some rings were stolen resulted in the arrest of a local man on drug charges, after ecstasy and marijuana were found in the man’s truck following a traffic stop Thursday, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s report.
That man, Gerald Bradford Foster, 18, of the 4400 block of Belfountain Street, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of ecstasy with the intent to distribute, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia, armed burglary and grand theft. He was jailed on $39,500 bond.
