PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte County Sheriff’s detectives are working to identify two men who beat and robbed a 30-year-old man in Port Charlotte on Thursday night, and surveillance photos have been released in hopes the public can identify them.
The victim was severely beaten and robbed by several men between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., according to a sheriff’s release. A short while later, at a nearby Circle K store at 2512 Tamiami Trail, a surveillance camera filmed two white men enter the store. Detectives want to talk to these two men to determine whether they have any connection to the beating.
