PUNTA GORDA — Four men were arrested after they stole large sheets of steel used for preventing cave-ins from a construction site, according to a Charlotte County
Sheriff’s report.

Carlos Jackson Subel, 32, of the 2500 block of Warne Street, Port Charlotte; Robert Wayne Rhinesmith, 43, of the 24200 block of Airport Road, Punta Gorda; and Adam Lee Crider, 27, and his brother, Joshua Shane Crider, 31, both of the 2700 block of Bailey Avenue, Punta Gorda, were charged with grand theft. Subel also was charged with dealing in stolen property.
