Donald E. “Don” Antrim, 80, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at his Port Charlotte home in the early hours.

Don was a beloved husband and father. He graduated from Jefferson Township Schools in Upland, Ind. Don was a Master Sergeant in the National Guard from 1950 to 1957. He worked at Anaconda Wire and Cable from 1952 to 1965, and Fisher Body from 1965 to 1967; he was a truck driver for Marsh Supermarket from 1967 to 1979, and for CP C and Florida Rock from 1979 to 1994. Don also worked after his retirement at Murdock Stone.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Christina (nee Byler); daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and John Bowen; sister, Sue Pattison; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Don’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, Attn: Memorials, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284- 0692; or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte.
