Lillian A. Williams

Lillian A. Williams, 96, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and formerly of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Harbour Health Center in Port Charlotte.

She was born Lillian Alexander on Oct. 19, 1916, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Lillian (nee Goldbeck) and Stratmore Alexander.

Lillian, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, moved from Abington in her native Pennsylvania to Punta Gorda in 1981, before eventually moving to Port Charlotte. She was a lifelong Methodist.

Lillian is survived by her son, C. Richard Williams, M.D. of Duxbury, Mass.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Chester Williams; and daughter, Judith A. “Judy” Monteleone.

No public services are planned. A private committal will be held at a later date. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to extend condolences to the family and sign the memory book.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory, Punta Gorda Chapel.
