Jane A. Hanscel, 66, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.

She was born in 1946 in Springfield, Ohio.

Jane has been a resident of Sarasota, Fla., for one year; and Punta Gorda for nine years. She is a past employee of Beacon and Nationwide Insurance of Columbus, Ohio, and Atlas Insurance in Sarasota.

Jane is survived by her husband, Benjamin; her father, Arbun; stepdaughter, Crystal; granddaughter, Jennifer; grandson, Gavin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church, 21075 Quesada Ave., Port Charlotte, Fla.
