Suzanne C. Swanson, 75, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.

She was born Sept. 20, 1937, in Richmond, Va.

Suzanne has been a Florida resident since 1957, moving to Port Charlotte in 1968. She was a bus driver in the Charlotte County School System for 29 years, and was an avid bowler.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Joseph) Gaudette and Jennifer Tyree; previous husband, John I. Swanson; six grandchildren, Brandon Gaudette, Tesla, Kendra and Vanessa Tyree, Becca Fuhlman and Zoe Swanson; and one great-grandson, Eli Henry.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church, 21075 Quesada Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33952. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzanne’s name to Port Charlotte United Methodist Church.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte.
