Iva Magdeline Crawford Dalton

Iva Magdeline Crawford Dalton, 88, of Ocala, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.

She was born July 22, 1924, in Lily, Fla., and the daughter of Jodie and Ruth (nee Stephens) Crawford.

Iva was of the Baptist faith, and resided in Charlotte County most of her life.

She will be greatly missed by her sons, Wil Fox of Venice, Fla., Rev. Ed Fox of Shawnee, Okla., and Charles (Carol) Dalton of Ocala; brothers, Leroy Crawford of Venice, and Willie T. Crawford of Osprey, Fla.; grandchildren, Teresa Whaley, John Davis, Hank Williams, and Crystal Kruse all of Southwest Florida, Carrie Dalton of Ocala, Tony Fox of Arkansas, and Todd Fox of Delaware; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Iva was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Dalton Sr., daughter, Kathryn Fox Morris; and sisters, Bernice Langford, and Billie Hunter.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with the service in celebration of Iva’s life beginning at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County, 3231 SW 34th Ave., Ocala, FL 34474.
