Eugenia “Jean” Michalek Riley, 92, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.

She was born June 7, 1920, in Yukon, Pa.

Jean lived in Charleroi, Pa., and moved to Florida in 1983. She enjoyed crafts, cards, and bingo. Jean loved boating and fishing in Florida and Canada. Her boat was appropriately named the “Jeanne R.” In high school, Jean played tennis, volleyball, and archery. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning fruits and vegetables. “In a full heart, there is room for everything.” — Antonio Porchia. She had a very full heart and will be deeply missed.

Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Louis Grella Riley II; sons, Louis (Carol) Riley of Haymarket, Va., Dennis (Gloria) Riley of Linthicum, Md., and Phillip (Rebecca) Riley of Lakeland, Fla.; grandchildren, Derek Riley of Portland, Ore., Sam Riley of Mobile, Ala., Lisa Kremer of Linthicum, Josh Riley of Lakeland, and Emilee Niekro of Lakeland; great-grandchildren, Mo, Neve, Morgan, Will, Ben, Riley, and Rikki.

Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 W. Charlotte Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jean’s name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, CFA, 211 W. Charlotte Ave. Punta Gorda 33950.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte, Fla.
