Last Thursday may have been the hottest Feb. 7 in Charlotte County. It certainly was the hottest business day in our piece of paradise. More than 1,500 people walked through the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center and saw firsthand the great products and services offered by hundreds of our members. Business cards were being handed out, referrals were given, appointments were made and contact lists grew. It was a great day to do business and network.

My thanks to all the sponsors, exhibitors, ChamberAction, the dancers from Dancing with the Charlotte Stars, the Event Center staff, chair Mark Martella, Kate and Rob Oliver, and, of course, the wonderful chamber staff. Already, more than 62 exhibitors have signed up for the Feb. 6, 2014, Expo, and the great team noted above are ready to start planning! Thanks, one and all!
