The Democratic Party thanks its many members from the Charlotte County Democratic Club, the Democratic Women’s Club, and the Democratic Executive Committee for their enthusiastic and committed work in our election. We also thank the many Democratic and independent volunteers for their hours of ringing doorbells and making phone calls. Others worked on computer input, posted signs in cars and yards, greeted people who came into our various offices, prepared events, composed and compiled signs, and talked to neighbors.

We have encouraged people to vote by mail or vote early. We have improved our state data base. People of similar beliefs came together to become citizen activists. The Democratic Party thanks you all. We are thankful to our presidential organization, the OFA or Organizing for America, for its organizational strength and direction. We are all united, and we should be proud of one another, here to stay and standing tall.
