Kevin Sabet, a national expert on marijuana studies, discusses the drugs use and its consequences at a breakfast meeting Wednesday of Drug Free Charlotte County, at the Isles Yacht Club in Punta Gorda.
PUNTA GORDA — The drive to legalize marijuana today “is not about the peace-loving hippie in 1963 wearing a tie-dyed T-shirt and singing ‘Kumbaya.’ Make no mistake about it. It’s about big business.”
That was the counsel Kevin Sabet gave some 60 people at a breakfast meeting sponsored by Drug Free Charlotte County Wednesday at the Isles Yacht Club.
