The Charlotte County Commission will hear from the public Tuesday about a proposal to amend the county code regulating the refund of unused impact fees.

If approved, the changes would clarify language in the code that many say is inconsistent and confusing with regard to what the actual timetable is for refunding impact fees that have not been used for capital projects.
