PUNTA GORDA — The second man wanted for striking a deputy with a pickup turned himself in Wednesday, bringing a two-week manhunt to an end, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Hunter Bruce Morrison, 22, of the 28200 block of Altadena Drive, Punta Gorda, was charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and violation of probation on an unrelated charge. He is being held at the Charlotte County Jail without bond.
