Celtic Ray saves the day for local kittens

Five orphaned kittens that found their way under the air conditioner unit at the Celtic Ray right after Christmas were adopted by patrons just in time for 2013.

Celtic Ray proprietor Kevin Doyle knew something was amiss when he opened his establishment on Dec. 27.
Instead of the usual purring from the air conditioning unit, Doyle heard a different type of purring that frigid morning. Upon inspection, Doyle and son Max discovered the source of the noise — five unattended kittens nestled snuggly under the unit.
