The Cecil F. Hull home was built in 1926 by a former county tax collector. The one-story home features a formal parlor in front, and the home has been restored with many beautiful furnishings.

The Cecil F. Hull home, built in 1926, features a lovely enclosed back porch, now decorated for the holidays. The Holiday Tour of Homes, held Saturday, was sponsored by Team Arcadia and included visits to five homes and St. Edmund's Episcopal Church.

The DeSoto County Historical Society has restored the house through several grants, as well as the adjacent Seed House now used to house DCHS's collection of historical documents. This was one of six stops on Team Arcadia's Holiday Tour of Homes Saturday.

In restoring the Ralls home, the current owners discovered items once owned by the young girl who lived there a century ago, such as her lace collar, hairbrush and mirror. Furnishings in the home are from the same period and replicate many of the items that might have been used by the Ralls family members.
