Seventy-six hungry people attended the Nov. 30 Shrimp Fest at the Bayfront Center YMCA
in Punta Gorda for a fundraiser put on by the Hi-Y’er Club. The event included
live music, an auction, friendship and a dinner featuring a pound of peel-and-eat shrimp,
potato salad and beans. Funds raised will go to the YMCA 2012 Annual Kids Scholarship Campaign.
