PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit detectives arrested four Port Charlotte residents following a raid Wednesday at 6:05 a.m. on a known methamphetamine dealer’s home. Arrested were Michelle Lee Spittler, 37, of the 18600 block of Goodman Circle, where the raid took place; Gabriel Paul McCay, 34, of the 20200 block of Andover Street; Virginia Joy Underwood, 25, of the 3600 block of Easy Street; and Jason Lopez, 33, Port Charlotte homeless. Prior to CCSO narcotics detectives obtaining a search warrant, surveillance was conducted on the Goodman Circle home that revealed numerous people inside the home as well as several cars coming and going from that location. All four were found inside the home when the search warrant was served. McCay was searched and had in his possession methamphetamine, oxycodone, dilaudid, suboxone, alprazolam, diazapam, methadone and marijuana. Also found in the home was a Pyrex smoking pipe with meth residue, a digital scale with meth residue, and two smoking devices with marijuana residue.

Lopez, McCay and Underwood told detectives they had just arrived and were visiting. They said they were bringing Spittler cigarettes. All four were arrested and taken to the Charlotte County Jail. McCay was charged with numerous drug offense and remains in jail on $19,500 bond. Spittler was charged with selling methamphetamine to an undercover detective on Oct. 23 from her home on Goodman Circle. Lopez and Underwood were both charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released after posting $3,500 each.
