PUNTA GORDA — All three City Council seats that were up for election this year were filled Friday without anyone casting a single vote, because only one candidate for each seat had qualified to run by a noon deadline.

And only one of the council members-elect is an incumbent: Rachel Keesling. She said she was “pleased” she will get to serve a second two-year term in
District 2.
