Bears rally, top Ohio St.

SARASOTA — Ohio State University starter Jaron Long had a suite full of impressive fans at Ed Smith Stadium on Friday night, and the Buckeyes junior didn’t disappoint.
Long threw five shutout innings in his season debut, but Mercer used a 10th-inning rally to beat the Buckeyes 6-5 in both teams’ season opener.
