ARCADIA – When DeSoto County High School defeated Hardee in the District 2A-10 semifinal, it assured itself a regional berth for the first time since 2010.

When the Bulldogs won the district with a 0-0 (5-4) victory over undefeated Frostproof, the team gained even more: the home field and a favorable opponent for the first round of the Region 2A-3 tournament, which begins tonight at 7 p.m.
