It certainly has been a great regular season for both the Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda little leagues. And for the seven major league teams in the area, the season came down to the annual county championship from May 7-14.
Things were a little different this year. With Murdock having moved to Cal Ripken, there were fewer teams to compete.
