DEEP CREEK — A seven-month investigation by detectives resulted in a local man being charged with molesting an 8-year-old boy, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s report.

Richard Allen Forget, 66, of the 26000 block of Luzon Court, was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation on Thursday.
