Linda Lee Twente, 72, a longtime resident of Charlotte County, Fla., passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lynn (Richard) Jewell; and grandsons, Casey Gaude and John Gaud. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Toppass and Helen Burns Toppass.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church, 11234 Royal Road, Punta Gorda, Fla. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County, 3519 Drance St., Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
