Elizabeth G. Staunton, 81, of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Mountainside, N.J., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.

She was the daughter of Fritz and Bessie (nee Salt) Bushner, born Aug. 29, 1931, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Elizabeth was a member of Westfield Presbyterian Church in Westfield, N.J. She enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the world, and especially on cruise ships. Elizabeth enjoyed being a homemaker, or as she liked to say, a “Domestic Goddess.” She was a great mom to her three boys, and wonderful cook.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her husband of 58 years, Al; sons, Christopher of Clark, N.J., Douglas of Cape Coral, Fla., and Allan (Lauren) of Crawford, N.J.; and grandchildren, Jack and Jesse. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Bushner.

A visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral service to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
