Robert “Bob” McKenna Jr., 74, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.

He was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Dorchester, Mass.

Robert was proud to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was as a Veterans Agent in Pembroke, Mass., and a meter reader with Boston Edison. Robert retired to Port Charlotte in 1995 from Kingston, Mass. He was a member of the Elks and was past president of the Pembroke Pines Lions Club. Robert loved Florida and golf. Most of all, he loved life.

Bob is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Robert (Kelly) McKenna III and Kevin (Heather) McKenna, both of Marshville, Mass.; daughter, Lori McKenna of Pembroke; stepson, Jonathan (Tammy) Neal of Kingston; and grandchildren, Molly, Thomas, Kelsey, Jacqueline, Jessica, Drew and Kyle.

Services are private.

Arrangements are by National Cremation.
