Clyde Russell Gore, 76, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at his residence in Punta Gorda, Fla.

He was born Oct. 14, 1935, in Ellsworth, Mich., to Russel G. and Pearl Ostrander Gore.

Clyde came to Punta Gorda from Michigan in 1994, after retiring from Ford Motor Company. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolores; brother, Andy Gore of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; sister, Katherine Meister of Kaleva, Mich.; and sister-in-law, Gerri Willey of Northville, Mich.

Memorial services will be held today, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 635 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, FL. The Rev.
