Mickie Lynn Taylor, 50, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, in Port Charlotte.

She was born July 11, 1961, in Massachusetts, to Shirley Elaine Tripoli and Frank Edwin McCauley.

Mickie was a proud stay-at-home mother, who liked to make crafts and scrapbook. She spent many hours going to school functions, such as band and chorus concerts. A survivor of breast cancer, she loved to support the cause every chance she got. You will be missed, Mickie. We all love you and cherish your memory.

Mickie is survived by her husband, Robert Mitchell Taylor; mother, Shirley Tripoli; brother, Raymond McCauley; daughter, Amanda Nadeau; and stepchildren, Melonie Largay, Rachel Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Christina Taylor, Jacob Taylor and Amber Taylor.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte.
