A temporary traffic signal that was installed on U.S. 41 was removed recently in Punta Gorda. The light had been installed to aid the increased flow of traffic due to a detour on Burnt Store Road. After the detour was reopened, the light was removed. Many feel that their safety is now at risk because of the light’s removal. The light was a big help in preventing crashes between vehicles that are always in a hurry.

God has His own stoplights sprinkled throughout His Word. The red lights are carefully placed in Scripture to cause us to stop certain activities and curtail certain attitudes that will cause us hurt and leave our lives in a wreck.
