I had some stuff — remember George Carlin’s rant on “stuff”? — on my desk that needed to be moved for our big open house last weekend. As I looked through the press releases and stacks of paper, I was reminded what a fun month this has been.

I had a photo of Elvis Presley Jr. His performance drew one of the largest crowds I have ever seen at the Charlotte County Fair. I had an opportunity to speak with him on the phone for a story prior to the fair and met him briefly as he took the stage for his show.
