Apice
Furniture marks 110 years
Apice Furniture Refinishing
and Repair announces its
110th year of providing
excellent refinishing and furniture repair.
Apice has been family-owned and -operated since 1902, when Eugene Apice arrived from Italy and settled in
Philadelphia, Pa. He opened his own music store in South Philly, along with a refinishing shop, where he reconditioned pianos and Victrola machines. He later gained popularity for his work in refinishing pianos for Lester Piano Company in Philadelphia, as well as RCA Victor in Camden, N.J., which set him apart from other furniture stores in the area.
