CCSO investigating bank robbery

Charlotte County Sheriff's officials have reason to believe that the man pictured in this surveillance photo may have robbed the C1 Bank, located at 1950 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, on Tuesday.

PORT CHARLOTTE — Authorities are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a C1 Bank Tuesday, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
The CCSO reported that the call came in from the bank, located at 1950 Tamiami Trail, at 12:27 p.m. Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Carpenter said witness accounts indicate the suspect may have left on foot or on a bicycle.
